Did you know that you can find new Twitter followers through your blog without going to the trouble of adding a widget? Well you can.
Yes, you can encourage social sharing right from your blog and specifically with Twitter by embedding tweets at the bottom or in the middle of your post.
Does this sound to “techie” for you? Well it isn’t. This is how you do it:
- Find the tweet you want to embed, hover over the right hand corner, and click Open to expand it. Now, click Details.
- Click Embed This Tweet.
A window will appear with the proper HTML code. Take this code and add it to your blog. Voila! You have an embeddable tweet.
Now new readers can follow you on Twitter, retweet, mark this blog post as a favorite, or reply to you with a tweet. Sweet!
